>> a private service will be held tomorrow morning in boston with a number of high-profile dignitaries including, including president obama. ted kennedy will then make his final trip to arlington where he will be buried next to his brothers. just a few feet from the eternal flame and the simple white cross is ted kennedy's final resting place. >> it is nice for people who want to remember them that the brothers are all together. >> groundskeepers are busy at work making the site meat and pristine for the people attending. there will be a bugler and air rifle squad and paul harris.

casket were members of his staff are invited to pay their final respects. people around the area are remembering senator kennedy. >> he was a veryu u >> this 8-year-old girl was one of the many students mentored by the senator. every tuesday, he spent his etu.h hour with ash e credits her love of reading to were time spent with kennedy. she was his final student. momentum is building to allow a temporary replacement to fill kennedy's senate seat. current state law requires an election of almost 160 days.

stay with us for the latest on the memorial service. the prince george's county school superintendent says he is sorry for the scheduling problem and that has kept thousands of students out of class. it is unclear whether the situation is back to normal. on monday, more than 8000 students had no schedules. many just sat there waiting. a computer program caused the problem. >> this issue does not end when every student has a schedule. we're reviewing our contract to see if there are possible damages that can be recovered. >> nearly 2000 students were still waiting for the schedules as of yesterday. the university of mary

completed by the fall of 2011. for a list of closures, you can log onto our website, wjla.com. local drivers 1 never forget the wall of water on or wrote last december. >> workers are having a tough time trying to find out if similar pipes may be at risk. courtney robinson is live to tell us why. >> for three months, they have been looking for records from around 1965 to determine how the pipe on our road was installed and to see if other pipes in the area were installed in the same manner. you cannot forget the video that we saw on and morning of december 23 when this pipe burst open, a 4 foot wall of

water rushed down rear road. nearly a dozen people needed to be rescued. rescue workers were able to get all of those individuals to safety. they do not want to see the scene repeated. they were looking for these records. the pipe was installed in 1965. they determined the pipe was not installed properly. the pipe was installed next to some jagged rock and that caused the pipe to burst open. they cannot find those records and believe they might have been thrown away as the were cleaning out a storage area. inspectors will step up inspections of all of the pipes in the area. the pipe running down our road is going to be inspected later
